So a lot of the posts above will be about Oxford because that is really where it all did start, though of course there was much more before that; but what happened before will have to be inter-twined should it come up whilst writing..So it was in the winter of 1988: ie that is the beginning of January 1988, when i first arrived in the city of the dreaming spires and settled into my humble Victorian Gothic abode in North Oxford - 9 Norham Gardens, Oxford - to be precise, which was at that time a rambling warren of about 20 single-roomed bedsits spaced over 5 floors; including a damp winding basement and a vaulted attic also containing 3 or 4 self-contained bed-sit rooms where I lived for about 5 years and where many adventures were had.. I believe the house may be a single private house now.. looks that way.. More to follow..
